Our institute had organized a field visit at Dr. Helen Keller Blind Residential School in Loha for D. Pharmacy students. Our students interacted with the blind children, listened to their life stories, and discussed the difficulties they face in their daily routines. D-Pharmacy first and second-year students distributed food to the blind students, reinforcing the importance of kindness, support, and inclusion. Students were given the opportunity to observe a vocational training centre that helps visually impaired children learn various skills for their livelihood, including braille reading, basic tasks, and adaptive technologies.
