Our institute was celebrated Maharashtra din & International workers day with great enthusiasm; The event began with the offering of floral tributes to the portraits of great leaders Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. After that, the flag hoisting ceremony was conducted by the hands of Mr. Ganesh Kadam, followed by the collective singing of the national anthem and Maharashtra geet. The program was presided by over by the principal of our institute Dr. A. D. Kshirsagar sir. The program was attended by the Principal of Rashtramata College of Education (B.Ed College) Dr. Keshav Ingole, Principal of Aabasaheb Patil High school, Hilal sir and Principal of D K Patil Public school, Mr. Manmath Swami.
Mr. Manmath Swami explained the significance behind celebrating Maharashtra day and worker’s day; following this, Ingole sir Pays tribute to the sacrifices made during the Samyukta Maharashtra Movement. After that, Dr. A. D. Kshirsagar sir successfully inspired awareness and pride among the audience regarding both the formation of Maharashtra and the rights of workers; they also emphasized the importance of workers in nation-building and the need to respect their rights. At last the program was concluded by heartful vote of thanks by Mr. Manmath Swami.
