Our institute had organized a field visit at Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Nanded. The visit began with an informative session where faculty members introduced students to the basics of Ayurveda, explaining its holistic approach to health and wellness. Students were guided through various departments of the hospital, including Panchakarma (detoxification therapies), Shalya (surgery), and Kayachikitsa (internal medicine). The staff explained how Ayurvedic treatments complement modern medicine, focusing on lifestyle, diet, herbal remedies, and detoxification. Students had the chance to interact with Ayurvedic doctors who discussed various aspects of their practice, including how they integrate Ayurvedic therapies with modern pharmaceutical knowledge to offer comprehensive patient care. After visiting the Ayurvedic hospital, the students toured the adjacent botanical garden. The garden featured a wide variety of plants commonly used in Ayurvedic formulations.
